A photographer, filmmaker, and screenwriter, Young has been a Djerassi Resident Artist and the recipient of Chesterfield and Film Independent fellowships. As an alpinist he's made notable first ascents and significant solo climbs. He holds a MFA from Columbia University and lives / works out of Los Angeles.
